Sustaining Compassion Without Fatigue: 3-part Webinar Series

In this experiential training, participants will explore and practice a variety of embodied techniques to enhance positivity, sharpen focus, and cultivate calm. Activities are drawn from both modern and ancient bodies of knowledge, including neurophysiology, crisis intervention techniques, yoga practices, and research on the impact of mindful breathing and meditation for emotional regulation and overall well-being.
This training builds on the practices and tools introduced in Compassion Without Fatigue; however, this training may be taken without having completed the CWF course.
This training will be in 3 sessions via Zoom, meeting weekly on December 7, 14, and 21 from 2-3pm Central time. We recommend attending all 3 sessions, as they will build upon each other. Sessions will not be recorded. This training provides three (3) contact hours for those who attend all 3 sessions, CEU applicable for most professions.
- Participants will define embodiment, mindfulness, and meditation.
- Participants will practice breathwork as a means for emotional regulation.
- Participants will consider ways to engage the vagus nerve.
- Participants will explore a variety of meditation practices.
This event is offered to participants at no charge through the Show Me Hope Crisis Counseling Program.
