Building Resilient, Trauma Informed Cultures
Two day immersion in principles and practices of trauma informed care and support for cultivating resilient communities and organizations
Participants will gain:
- A deeper understanding of the prevalence and impact of personal, public, and systemic trauma; protective factors and ways to increase resilience; the trauma-informed approach in a variety of settings; and the challenges and outcomes of trauma-informed culture change.
- Expert coaching in building awareness of the prevalence and impact of trauma
- Key insights and successful resilience-building strategies from trauma sensitive organizations
- Cloud drive access, which includes customizable training materials, video files, implementation resources, and printable documents.
The program begins both days at 8:45am Central Time and concludes at 4pm Central Time, with self-care breaks and a one-hour break for lunch each day.
Please note that registrants are expected to complete approximately 2 hours of preparatory work, which will be emailed at least one week before the event. Full attendance is required to receive both a certificate of completion and cloud drive access. All participants will need to join using a computer or device with a webcam and microphone, due to the interactive nature of the training. Registration must be received on or before June 11. The link to join the session will be sent in advance to all registrants.
