At TMC, we value our friends, and our Trufriends provide
invaluable service to our hospitals.
Mission of TruFriends
A young Kansas Citians social society dedicated to educating,
volunteering and encouraging collaborative philanthropy to make a
substantive impact to benefit Truman Medical Centers' mission,
programs and services.
TruFriends Annual
Commitment
TruFriends are asked to provide service for one
year.
- Attend a TMC Charitable Foundation signature event (Fashion
for a Cause, Golf Baby Golf and/or Benefit at the
Bristol)
- Provide 10 hours of volunteer service to TMC (e.g. a TruFriends
hands-on project, volunteer at a TMC Charitable signature event,
or host a tour)
- Tour a TMC location
- Advocate TMC's
Mission
- Recruit
other TruFriends
- Donate a minimum $100 to TMC, which can be
a direct donation
or an event ticket
Previous philanthropy projects have included funds for infant
warmers and isolettes, laundry facilities for TMC Behavioral Health
New Frontiers program and Fashion for a Cause.
