Mission
The Truman Medical Center Charitable Foundation builds community
engagement and inspires donors to generously support the
state-of-the-art, comprehensive and accessible healthcare provided
by Truman Medical Centers.
The TMC Charitable Foundation was formed in 1979 through a
generous bequest from the William Volker estate. The purpose of the
Foundation is to support Truman Medical Centers. Individuals,
foundations and organizations are offered a variety of ways to
support the hospital through giving, events and volunteerism.
The Foundation is governed by a board of directors made up of
community business and civic leaders. Other community members
provide volunteer leadership to the Foundation's councils and
committees.
