Although Truman Medical Centers (TMC) accepts most health insurance plans, you may find that some physician offices may not participate in the same insurance plans that TMC offers. Please check with your physician to ensure that they participate with your insurance plan or network before seeking services at TMC.

All healthcare plans require pre-certification or authorization by the insurance company for any in-patient service and for some out-patient procedures.  It is the responsibility of the physicians office or you as a member of the plan to ensure this process is completed. Prior to admission for any inpatient services or scheduling an out-patient procedure, please contact your physicians office to confirm that pre-certification is in place.
