Dental Residency
Truman Medical Center Lakewood sponsors a one year General Practice
Residency in Dentistry. It is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental
Accreditation of the American Dental Association. This program is affiliated
with UMKC School of Dentistry and provides the first year training for the
Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology program at UMKC. For more information,

School of Nurse Anesthesia
Anesthesia is an exciting profession for the RN seeking a demanding,
advanced practitioner field. Our program has been training CRNAs since 1950,
and providing a Master's degree framework since 1978. The program seeks to
graduate self-motivated, independent, professional Nurse Anesthetists.

Continuing Medical Education
Truman Medical Centers sponsor various learning opportunities for
medical professionals. We work in collaboration with the clinical
departments of Truman Medical Centers and other health-related
organizations, including our affiliated Medical School, the University of
Missouri - Kansas City. Sponsored activities are targeted to physicians
around the world who practice within the specialties recognized by the
American Medical Association. Recognizing the benefits to be gained from
interdisciplinary forums, Truman Medical Centers' Continuing Medical
Education activities are available, as appropriate, to other healthcare
professionals, residents and students. There are many excellent learning
