Corporate Academy
Whether you want to complete a Master’s degree or try your hand at
photography, Corporate Academy has a class for you. Courses in these areas
and in many other subjects are available to all TMC employees, volunteers,
and their families on-site and online through the TMC Corporate Academy.
This pioneering venture on both the Hospital Hill and Lakewood campuses is a
first not only for TMC but also for the state of Missouri.
This unique benefit provides career and lifelong learning opportunities on-site and online. The courses offered include language and communication courses, training in computer skills, and courses to provide care for the TMC caregivers. Still other courses will help you prepare for and successfully complete the GED, plan for your retirement, or embark upon an advanced degree.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Each year, TMC employees donate thousands of dollars and hours to help fund
local charities, including the United Way, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation, American Heart Association, and many other groups. In addition,
TMC employees also participate in numerous local health fairs, staff first
aid tents at area festivals and help create a healthy and safe community by
conducting bicycle and car seat safety checks.
