John F. Marshall
Executive Director, Truman Medical Center Charitable Foundation
Marshall has an expansive expertise in portfolio management, capital campaigns, major gift solicitation and board, program and volunteer management. He has served in a number of leadership roles throughout his career, most recently as Director of Development for The Salvation Army of Greater New York. Marshall was responsible for all facets of development including capital campaigns, public relations, marketing and major gifts. Under his direction, The Salvation Army of Greater New York experienced a 22 percent increase in major gifts in the last year. He also helped increase attendance from 1,300 to 1,500 and overall revenue from $202,000 to $550,000 for The Army’s Annual Christmas Luncheon, the largest public Salvation Army event in the United States.
Prior to his service with The Salvation Army of Greater New York, Marshall held the positions of Vice President for Development of Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont; President of the Foundation for SSM Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and President of the Foundation for Integris Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Marshall earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences from George Williams College in Downers Grove, Illinois and is currently a Masters Degrees candidate in Fund-Raising Management a the New School of Social Research in New York, New York.
