Valerie Fulbright
Vice President, Human Resources
Valerie Fulbright is the Vice President of Human Resources for Truman Medical Centers, with the responsibility of recruiting and selection of employees, labor and employee relations, compensation and benefits, human resource information systems, human resource planning and employee health services.
Fulbright has expertise in organizational effectiveness, project management and leadership, and physician development. Previously, Fulbright was director of Organizational Development and Training at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she was responsible for all aspects of training and development for 10,000 employees. She also designed a “New Leader Orientation” program as part of an overall retention strategy. In 2005, under Fulbright’s leadership, the hospital was recognized as a “Best Place to Work” by the Dallas Business Journal. In addition, she was director of Business Practice and Strategy for Nortel Networks in Texas. Fulbright has a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan.
